AFTER PAPUA NEW GUINEA, THE EARTHQUAKE HIT INDONESIA




Mustafa AY – TDO – 26.03.2018 On Saturday, US Geological Survey Agency (USGSA) announced that Papua New Guinea was struck by a 6.3 magnitude earhquake. In the wake of the earthquake, there were luckily no physical damage on the buildings and lives. As for Sunday, USGSA specialists announced that Indonesia encountered a 6.4 magnitude earhquake, which occurred 210 km northwest of the tourism island of Tanimbar –  located at Indonesia’s Saumlaki territory - . According to the experts of USGSA, the earthquake unfolded at a depth of 171 km. Owing to that the earthquake unfolded 210 km off the coast of Indonesia, no damage on both lives and building happened fortunately as Indonesian authorities announced so.
