A NEW CARAVAN IN HONDURAS FORMED FOR IMMIGRANTS TO CROSS INTO US

Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Many people in San Pedro Sula, got together to form a new caravan in order to reach the United States. The caravan is expected to turn its engine on later on Wednesday.

Roberto Herrera, the country's national commissioner for human rights, underlined the importance of government's approach to dealing with migration and improvement of the living conditions in Honduras.

The US border faced outrage last fall, when a caravan, with thousands of people in it, made an attempt to get in the US through its border with Mexico. Repelled by the tear gas used by the US border guards, immigrants were stopped.

US President Donald Trump is concerned with illegal immigrants. To prevent their migration, he supports the idea of building a wall along the border.
