A COMMERCIAL AIRPLANE CRASHED IN SOUTH SUDAN




Mustafa AY – TDO - 10.09.2018 On Sunday, a commercial airplane with 22 passengers on board crashed while flying from South Sudan’s capital Juba through the city of Yirol. While 17 people including airplane’s crew lost their lives, 3 people got heavily injured. Wounded passengers were immediately taken to hospital in order to undergo surgery. Besides deaths and injuries, 2 people are missing. South Sudanese Minister in charge of State Information –Taban Abel- announced that the officials commenced search and rescue mission to find those missing. Among the heavily injured passengers, there is an Italian doctor, added to his words Minister Abel.
