News Center-TDO-14.07.2017- Jordan’s Ambassador to Turkey, Amjad Adaileh, hosted a reception in Sheraton Cermodern regarding the 70th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Turkey and Jordan. Several respected guests from diverse occupations joined to the event. 

Also, Minister of Agriculture, Faruk Çelik and Minister of Science and Technology, Faruk Özlü joined to the event.

Program started with ambassador’s speech. In the speech, Mr. Adaileh informed guests about the structure of two state relations. Then, he highlighted historical and cultural commons between the two states. He reminded famous idiom ‘’ Who has friends is rich’’ and said ‘’ Our relations with Turkey will improve in the basis of mutual respect and trust’’.

Following, Çelik took the stage. He reminded that Turkey was one of the first countries that recognized the independence of Jordan in 1946. Moreover, he underlined the extensive number of immigrants in Jordan and Turkey and said the two states feel the unfortunate results of the problems at most. Furthermore, he thanked Jordan regarding their support to Turkish people and the government in the failed coup attempt. He ended his words as ‘’ I hope Jordan-Turkey friendship forever.

Program continued with mini folk music concert, award ceremony, treat of delicious traditional foods.
