İlknur Şebnem Öztemel-TDO-Talat Pasha Committee organized a commemorative ceremony for Hodjalı massacre, in the 25th anniversary of the sad event, hosted by Turkish Bar Association. Respected guest from several communities joined to the ceremony.
Former ministers Barlas Doğu, Enis Öksüz, Agah Oktay Güner, President of the Turkish Bar Association, Metin Feyzioğlu and some members the Republic’s Women Organization. Also, some Azerbaijani bureaucrats were participated to the organization.
President of Talat Pasha Committee, retired General Ali Erdinç made the opening speech. Additionally, Metin Feyzioğlu gave a speech.
Afterwards, Azerbaijan Folk-Song Choir of Turkish Ministry of Culture gave a mini-concert to audience.
Program continued with a symposium. Dr. Rasim Kazımov, Dr. Güntekin Necefli, Dr. İrade Aliyeva, Dr. Ömer Lütfi Taşçıoğlu , Dr. Cebi Behramov, Prof. Dr. Kerim Şükürov, Fuad Babayev, Prof. Dr. Cemalettin Taşkıran and Sean Patrick Smith talked about the massacre, deportation of Turks in the region, Russian policy about Nagorno-Karabagh and World’s approach about the issue.
On 25 February 1992, 613 people including, women, children and elders were massacred by Armenian forces.
