News Centre-TDO- Georgia’s Ambassador to Turkey, Irakli Koplatadze, hosted a reception in Sheraton Hotel regarding the 25th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Turkey and Georgia. Several respected guests from diverse occupations joined to the event.
Minister of Agriculture, Faruk Çelik and the CEO of Nurol Holding, Nurettin Çarmıklı were also among attendees.
Program started with ambassador’s speech. In the speech, Mr. Koplatadze informed guests about the structure of two state relations. Then, he pointed out infrastructure investments such as the new Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, TANAP and restoration of Sarp border crossing. He said ‘’ We are happy to open TANAP one year early than planned date’’. Secondly Çelik took the stage and said ‘’ Turkey was there for Georgia both in good and bad times. Turkey defends territorial integrity of Georgia and always will’’.
Program continued with mini folk music concert and treat of delicious traditional foods.
