“CHANGE”: SHORT, SIMPLE AND MEMORABLE





The use of the word ‘change’ as a slogan has entered marketing and political communications literature as an effective campaign strategy with the initial presidential campaign of Barack Obama. The slogan “change” has led to more than one politician winning an election since 2008, when Barack Obama, the first African-American president of the USA first used it. During his campaign, Obama used 12 versions of a slogan featuring the word ‘change’ very effectively.
